Isaiah receives trumpet from Norman Hathaway and George Koller on his new trumpet.

A principal focus of Euterpe: Music Is The Key is underserved schoolchildren, the vast majority of whom are not privy to high-level musical experiences and opportunities, including access to quality instruments and lessons.

Leading neuroscientist Dr. Laurel Trainor of McMaster Institute for Music and The Mind, documents that our evidence-based programs have positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of children of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Many children who experience our program reach out asking for instruments. To that end, Euterpe: Music Is The Key created our Music Mentorship Program in 2012, ensuring that these children receive the instrument of their dream as well as lessons.

Each of these 29 trumpets will be placed in the hands of deserving young children who have requested to play the trumpet, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to own an instrument.

All of Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s initiatives are free-of-charge to the recipients.

Part of Euterpe’s commitment to children who experience our programs is providing instruments and lessons for those children who reach out to us…

Help us plant the musical seeds our children need to grow.
