The Upper Canada Chorus (UCC) joined Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s flagship performance group Ensemble Vivant (EV) for part of this wonderful concert. This video features excerpts from Holiday Classics that UCC performed with EV. The concert took place at the George Weston Recital Hall in Toronto, Ontario on December 9, 2016, for which there were more than 900 people in attendance.
Euterpe: Music Is The Key donated 325 seats to targeted public-school children and their families who would not otherwise have been able to experience this live concert to share the spirit and joy of the season with family and friends and the greater community. This opportunity provided tremendous inspiration to the public-school children in the audience, not only hearing other youth in performance, but also having the chance to hear the world-class performers of Ensemble Vivant Live in Concert. These, among other of Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s invaluable initiatives, plant musical seeds and bring community together through live vibrant musical collaborations.
