EUTERPE: Music Is The Key publicly thanks the Ontario Trillium Foundation for having awarded Euterpe: Music Is The Key a substantial 3-year Grow Grant in 2020 to bring our invaluable music education performance programs to inner-city children in Toronto and Brampton.

On Monday evening April 22, 2024, MPP Peter Tabuns was at the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto to congratulate Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s achievement of having been awarded a 3-year grow grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) in 2020 of the amount of $173,200.00 to deliver its inspiring music education performance programs to underserved schoolchildren in Toronto and Brampton. Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s invaluable programs are proven to empower children of all backgrounds.

Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s scientific study, which was conducted at over one-third of the schools for this project, reveals that virtually 100% of children in underserved schools are not exposed to the high level musical opportunities that Euterpe: Music Is The Key musicians introduce them to. Dr. Catherine Wilson commented: “The children are tremendously inspired by our programs, and some reach out asking for instruments.

These children become part of Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s Music Mentorship Program and are given instruments and lessons at no charge to them or their families.  Yamaha Canada Music Ltd gifts these children the instrument of their dream. Euterpe: Music Is The Key stays involved with these children and their families providing them with additional musical opportunities.

Help us plant the musical seeds our children need to grow.

Victoria Abiodun became part of Euterpe: Music Is The Key’s Music Mentorship Program.
